When I missed my run last night I knew today the only time I would be able to get a good run in would be early in the morning. I mapped out a 6 mile route and headed out. It was nice and cold in the upper 20’s and a fog in the air. Headed out to wards Hayden Lake. I didn’t know what the elevation gain wa going to be but I was heading for a road called Lookout point. It had some great climbs on it with a section that reminded me of the last part of Robie creek race really steep!!!! Had a great run really like running up here and I also got to see a dozen whitetail deer running around people’s yard. Wish I had this kind of terrain near my house it would make training a lot more fun and challenging.

Drove to north Idaho (Coeur d'Alene) for State Volleyball tourn.  * Hours of driving through Idaho it was beautiful all the trees are changing colors. 


I was getting ready to go on a night run when family stopped by and I ended up visiting with them for a few hours and planed some cards.

Just realized that I have meet my goals this year for races completed.  I have Biked 100 miles, done Sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman Triathlons, also 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon.  Just 2 years ago I could not have done a 5K and now I can do so much more.  It is just amazing how far I have come in just 2 years.

Nice easy run tonight.  I didn't want to push t hard more of a recovery run.  Felt great to get out and put in some good miles.   Still not feeling 100% recovered from my last two races.  I need to putt in some good quality runs in the next 7 days.  Going to be hard with going to Coeur D' Alene, Idaho for High school state Volleyball tournament.  My wife is the coach and her team should take the state title . Kcal 867  


To much going on today.  Ended up going back into work for a few hours last night so no run.  Calf is a little also, end up stretching it out a lot today.
Rest, relax and recover today.  A little sore form the race yesterday.

Good race not quite the race I had planed. I was hopping to break 50:00 but I went out to fast and it took a few miles to recover.
