Went on a date with my wife.  we haven't done that in months. Went out for dinner and movie.  Had a great time ate too many chips and salsa.  I did good at the movie and stayed away from the popcorn and gummy bears.  I need to get out with her more often.  I forget what an adult conversation is like other than computer geek stuff at work.

Great swim today. I was a little tired from last nights run on the dreadmill. Leggs were a little weak but they felt great after the swim.(don't kick much). Starting to fell the endurance come back.

I now remember why I hate dreadmills to run on. Boring....the one I was on had a broken TV and the tunes on my Ipod were not that motivational. I trudged through 6 miles. I also for got what a difference it was on the tread mill it kept the pace and there was no slowing down naturally. I found my self adjusting the speed up and down as I progressed. My HR would go up so I would slow it down then it would start to drop to far (recover) and I would have to speed it back up. It was a killer run.

I was amazed on my split times. They were fast and held them below 1:50 for 900yds. Felt good and strong. However when I got to 1200yds. I felt things fall off fast and form suffered.

I was thinking about running today but the Ice on the roads was a bit much.  I couldn't find my ice skates. 

Back to the real world.  Had to much fun with the family in Bear Lake.  I was only able to get Internet access for 20 minutes last week.  No cell phone no cable TV, no land line phone, no Internet.....what a wonder full time.

 Spent the time with family and friends.  Had some great food, great laughs and great memories.

 Its sucks that I had to come home.  With all the snow we got (2 feet) it took us 9 hours to drive what would take 4 hours in the summer.

More snow overnight for a great day to play. Spent most of the day sledding down the hill and then pulling the kids on tubes behind the snowmobile.

got the snowmobile up to 85 across the flats....way to fast!!!!
