About to come out of the sickness.  I plan to go to the gym today and slowly work my body back into it.

Ironman Florida in...T - 293 days...?? hours....

Taking another day off to try to get over the cold.  Not to mention that I tried Trixie's method of drowning it out last night.  Actually may have worked.  Nothing like a few hours of drinking (left the bar at 4 am) to get you back to norm.  Also, had a bit of star-gazing as I ran into Paige Davis from the Trading Spaces show!  Amazing who you can meet as you are bellied up to a bar.

Still fighting the head cold, so I was unable to swim yesterday.  Not to worry to much, I wouldn't have been able to swim yesterday anyway as we had bad thunderstorms all afternoon.  Probably will take today off again to try to finally kick this cold.  Makes for a fun Saturday at work!

Well, I ended up taking yesterday off to get over the head cold.  Not much better today.  I want to swim today...well, I NEED to swim today.  We will see how that goes.  Maybe by the end of the day, I will be better enough to swim without my head exploding.

Haven't decided on the workout today.  Need to take a day off to get over this sinus cold, but I was not happy with the swim yesterday, so I don't feel like that should count as a workout day.  If anything today, probably will get on the stationary bike for 30-45 minutes then do a legs/shoulder weight day.

Wow! The time out fo the water killed me. Had no endurance in the pool, not to mention that this is a weird 35m pool, so the laps seemed extremely long. No set workout, just wanted to ease back into it. Did a few drills, a few 50s, and a few 100s. Couldn't do anymore as I couldn't breathe. The sinus congestion is lasting longer than usual. Maybe it will go away soon. Back in the pool again on Friday.

Ironman Florida in...T - 297 days...?? hours....

Fighting what we call the Key West Krud.  Bit of a sinus cold that I get everytime that I come down here.  Only lasts a day or two, then good to go from there.  I am sure it has nothing to do with the alcohol intake or the lack of sleep with my daily routine.  Up at 5:30, work till 5 pm, out with the boys for dinner, then to Duval Street  and home by 1.  And that is just the weekdays!  You know, one day I am going to have to grow up!

Another weight workout today.   I plan to do a short run tonight after work if I can.  head cold kept me out of the pool yesterday, pool closed today, so swim workouts will come tomorrow........maybe.
