race was about 10.8 up. distance includes ride down. also includes ride from parking lot to race start and back.

race went well. Short time trial (and all uphill at that) is not exactly my forte, but finished in 1:05, which was 5 min. better than last year.

had the pleasure of meeting fellow BTer AbbieR, who ended up being the only female who rode with our group since my wife ended up not doing the ride. poweredbyfear also rode and didn't aggravate his achilles tendon, so that's good.

race results are up. finished much stronger than last year (what a difference 5 minutes makes in a 10+ mile time trail...).

at the Y. crowded. everyone in the medium lane was a lot slower than me. I'm still not quite fast enough for the fast lane, although it'd probably force me swim faster/harder, but this was just supposed to be a recovery swim. I worked on my flip turns a little bit when the turn was clear. A bit inconsistent. Still need practice.
