What a difference a week makes. Same route as last week, which took me 4:22 (16.4mph). This week, a little cooler and less humid, no wind, new tires and no flat, almost 2.5mph faster average.
I had given up on meeting my Ride Lots! Challenge Goal of 500 miles. Then took a closer look at the math: 200 miles to go but four days to ride. I'm gonna give it a shot, probably 40 today, then shoot for 70 tomorrow, 30 on Sunday afternoon and 60 on Monday.
