Biked to the YMCA to swim and back home. It's 1 1/2 miles of pure hell. hill. not hills, but HILL. long climb. BUt fun.

Very good run for me. Trails w/Ronna. Ran much farther than I did on Thurs, I walked 4 times, but each time it for only about 10 strides. Much less walking. New shoes are good, 'Nathan' H2O Bottle pack is good... rattles a little, but isn't too heavy. Nice to have liquid on the run.

First time to try wetsuit. A little tough to get used to in terms of the arms and how it effects my stroke. HUGE bouyancy difference.

"Extra Cirricular Activities"

Legs still have quite a way to go before they're feeling better. Not too painful- I can run through it if possible. Right knee still sharp, but tension is going away. Very good run. Ronna is not feeling 100%, but I was almost 2 minutes ahead of her. Not bad for out Running an Army Capt. ...but then again she's twice my age plus 3. Alyson and I biked to the Y, swam, biked home and then ran around the block to get the wobbly feeling out of our legs.

LEGS. Hurt. my right shin and knee are not happy. great run though. survivor shuffle twice (walked). Ran faster than Ronaa- running parter in the Army. Very good for distance and ratio of running.

Ouch! my right knee and right shin are NOT happy! lots of pain. no good.
Nice to run w/ vera though. overall my strides felt good and I felt quick and upbeat, but my right leg is just not right.

1000 yards max. wasnt really counting. not feeling great in the water, but I dindt some sprint work, and 3x 10tri presses with 100 sprint swam a 50 at end 35 off the wall. not good time- was swimming 27's off the wall last 14 months ago.

Lunch break run.
RIght shin and knee still very sore. The week off last week did hlep a lot, BUT endurance is at aobut 1/2 of previous. I hope to get in a swim tonight.
Weather was about 73* sunny, light breeze. Ran new trails along creek. very nice area, but takes a 10 min drive to get there.
