11:47am. Current Temp 98. Heat Index 105... and rising. Heat index for 5pm is expected to be near 113. great. *** Stood around and talked with Kelly Benjamen and her husband for ever. Very cool. Her husband tinkered away on my bike and is now shifting better than it ever has. Yippee! *** Kelly has the Coolest M-Dot tat I've seen. .. I have to get me one of those ;)

longest ride to date. rode w/2 girls on my race team. this was one of the best workouts since i've started tris. I even rode naked (haha, I just rode in a recordbreaker swimsuit- got a tan goin)There were a TON of other riders out-especailly when we were coming back. we left the "base" at 6:45am and it was perfect. excellent route- i'll see if i can load it up here.

not a great ride. was supposed to be 30min spin with 3x60sec accel. every 5 minutes. I got about 3 1/2 miles from home and big lightning and storms were rolling in. I raced back to the house. Last night there were winds of 60+ mph (about 10pm). I had left the house at 8:30, but on my way back I was going DOWNHILL in my aerobars at 23mph. I was into the wind. I rde this hill consistently at over 32mph. I knew I was in trouble. It was hell trying to get back to the house. Crazy how the weather could go from clear to ominious in 15 minutes.

I'm still reeling from what eric said last night. he has since apologized multiple times, but my feelings are crushed. I think it's safe for me to expect flowers, but i doubt i'll be so lucky.

slow run, walked a bunch. upset over fight.

Eric and I got into a huge fight over our the fridge. He said some words he didnt really mean after he thougth that he had hung up the phone. You can only imagine but I was seriously hurt.
