Took a break from work to clear the head - I am just not in the game today. Nice walk but it is getting hot.

I have 4 runs planned today so it should be a fun but exhausting day.  This is my last big day before the Flaming Foliage Relay during which I will run over 24 miles in three segments in 24 hours.  My second leg is a 12.5 mile run of Georgia Pass which is over 11,000 above sea level.  I am running with a camera!

All runs today are commutes:

  1. 4.3 mile run to bus stop - COMPLETE
  2. 3.5 mile run to brain therapist - COMPLETE
  3. 2.2 mile run back from brain therapist - COMPLETE
  4. 4.7 mile run home from bus stop - COMPLETE

Lunch run wiht a loop around Mile High Stadium and one Hottie Loop (with lots of hotties today) -

My lunch run  at Mile High Stadium 6 hours before NFL kick-off. The grimace is from the sun and the hard effort I just put in running around the stadium. Aren't I attractive?

Run back to work from brain shrink -

Ran to my brain shrink appointment this morning.  We decided to stick with the same meds but bump up the doses.  I am okay with that - I started feeling better and then bam! I was back in the cellar.  Doc thinks increased doses should help this.  I think so too.

It felt DAMN hot on the run and when I got back to the office and checked the temp I know why - 95 degrees hot.  Good run despite the heat - over nine miles total today.

I wish there was a filter that would add a tan to my paleness:

The singletrack I got to run - not much of a singletrack though:

Ran with Shep - calling this the Harsh North 10K - it is a brutal course with a long uphill finish. It will be fun to run as I start to go faster and faster -

Anaconda photos from today - crappy cell phone pictures but still a very cool snake!

Our new pack member - she came with the name Belit but we are going to call her Bailey.  We are adopting her from a friend who is overextended right now.
