Ran most of the Firecracker 5 Mile run, but didn't know how far down Cobb's Hill Lane to go. After driving it I estimate that I ran about 0.6 mile less than I should have. A little miffed about that... I only signed up for it yesterday after a few senseless minutes of thinking that I had a chance to win my age group. I don't know why I do these things. I hate the nerves....

Made up my own workout since Power Hour is over. Don't know if it's because there is no class or if I was just plain tired, but I seemed to struggle through most of my workout. I didn't start to feel "good" until about 1700 yards into it! Arms very tired tonight and my sinuses hate me after swimming any more. Need to really think about joining a master's swim group or just hold out until the next Power Hour class.

I just looked at my pace from the last 3 weeks and I was right on target, if not a little faster tonight!! I can't believe it. It's all mental. Maybe I just need a group to swim with. Makes more of a difference than I would have imagined!

Ran in Score-O Orienteering event. 190 points accrued, 9th place out of approx. 20. I feel it was my personal best performance in this sport so far! Need more practice with route planning... - but I did not get horribly lost at all this time! Rob won the event!

Had to cut workout short (spent too much time talking to "Ridgelake") so didn't do full course, but still had a good ride. Note to self - don't forget MP3 player! Need tunes! Look forward to my "new" bike!

So much for sticking to the 10% guideline! Felt better on this run than I have felt in awhile. Feet doing better. After I stick with this route for awhile (flat) I'll go back to my hilly one but increase the distance. I could tell I ate too much potato salad and hamburgers this weekend :-) It felt good to run that off!
