I had a good talk with my coach today.  She reassured me that I am totally ready for Saturday.  I guess that's what she's paid to do :)  It did make me feel better to look back a month ago and see a 47 mile training ride at almost an 18 MPH pace.  I'm just worried about putting it all together, but not much I can do about it now.  I just need to have a positive attitude and go forward.

Run then swim after work tonight.  Laura gave me an easy swim workout since I missed Masters yet again this morning.  Next week I must get back.  Pool was packed with some kind of adult learn to swim program, so I bailed.

Z2 ride after the run

I'll just say that it's very hard to celebrate your 30th birthday for 3 straight weeks.  I think I have gained 10 pounds and lost any speed that I might have acquired this year.  If I never see another beer for the rest of my life (ok fine, a couple of days), it will be too soon.

I'm a little nervous about this race I have this weekend.  I thought it was a sprint - turns out it is an Olympic.  !!!!!!!  I am so not ready for that....
