My Garmin had the course at 26.5 miles, and everyone that I compared with afterwards had at least 26.5. I was at 26.2 at 3:58:47 but the extra .3 put me over 4 hours. I'm still SUPER pleased with my first marathon performance.

A couple of neighbors had water pipes burst last night and I was standing outside in the freezing cold last night for 2 hours until just after midnight.  Ah the joys of being on the HOA board   I did sleep in somewhat this morning but I feel pretty tired.  Must get to bed early tonight!

The weather is not looking good for our flight tomorrow.  Snow tonight and then icy conditions tomorrow.  I'm just hopeful that Sam can get my sister and I to the MARTA station safely tomorrow so that we can get to the airport.  Temps are not supposed to go above freezing on Friday, so that could delay our flight.  What a mess!  I'm trying to stay positive.

Plan for the week -
-M- off
-T - 20 min run

-W - 30 min bike
-Th - 4 mile run
-F - off

-S - 10 min run
-S - Disney Marathon!

Didn't have time to go to the pool this morning so opted for an easy trainer ride instead

Went ahead and registered for the TryCharleston 1/2 iron race in May.  Entry fee goes up Feb. 1 and I know I'm going to do it, so I saved $10.

Weather is still looking good for Sunday - now lows in the upper 20's and highs in the upper 40's - that is perfect running weather for me.  Now the great mystery is whether it will snow tomorrow and block our flight Friday.  Not a huge deal if we can't fly out until Saturday, but my mom is running the half so she has to get there.  I know everyone wants snow, but this would not be good for us if it delays our flight Friday.  Not much I can do about it now, though.  I'll just keep hoping!
