Well today I finished a FRICKIN HALF IRONMAN!

Early in training I thought 7 hours was realistic. Late in the cycle around peak time I thought 6:30 was more realistic and secretly thought that a 6:15 was possible if things were really good.

Things were good but not quite that good. Unofficially I am around 6:20. RR to come when results are posted.

I think I PR'd the swim!

Day before HIM. I feel real good. Nervous, excited, worried, oh yeah, did I mention nervous?

9:00 AM: Panic time!! My friend who was driving to Enumclaw called. He hit a deer and drove into a ditch. I am now scrambling to get my wife a car for the weekend so I can take the van. Also, both my girls called in tears that they are not going. They have volleyball tournaments tomorrow so were not going to the race. They have both informed thier coaches they are not playing and now I need to fit picking them up and them packing . I love them so much for wanting to come though!
