Did some easy swimming. Spent alot of time coaching my training partner, so it wasn't too hard of a workout. That works out ok because I am sore from yoga yesterday!

Had a nice run tonight. I'm reading the book "Chi Running," and I'm trying to incorporate some of the techniques into my stride. It doesn't seem to come naturally to me, but I'm going to keep working at it. Nonetheless, I felt pretty strong.

Took my borrowed wetsuit into the ocean for the first time. I didn't do too much swimming, but my goal was to get comfortable in the vast, cold water. Ocean swimming is a whole lot different than lap swimming in a pool! Swimming into kelp freaks me out, and I'm paranoid that I'm going to run into a shark. Scary stuff!

Led another yoga class at work today. It was a bit shorter than usual, so I upped the intensity to compensate.

After the run, I did some leisurely biking around Santa Monica through Venice Beach. Had a great time!

I had taken a break from running because my Achilles's tendons weren't feeling so good. I think I had been doing too much too soon, so I decided to give myself a rest. I think the rest paid off, because everything felt great when I ran this! I can't wait to get back to my training schedule!
