Take a psuedo rest day today. I had a fitness assessment as part of a job interview today. It was max situps in 1 minute, 300 meter run, max pushups and 1.5 mile run with a 3 - 5 minute break between each. It was tougher than most tri's I've done.
Half the roads were the worse that I have ever ridden on. It was full of pot holes and bumps. I ejected my tubes and tire tools from my XLab. If they don't fix those roads, I'm never doing this race again.

Not as fast as I wanted. My legs still aren't back all the way.
I went 1:24:39 overall and finished 28th in my age group and 171st overall.
Ughh. Forgot the stupid Rascal Flatts concert is tonight. This is going to make the neighborhood real quite and make it real easy for me to get to sleep tonight. Out of all the bands that would be willing to play Wrigley Field, why did the Cubs choose Rascal Flatts.
Quick swim. Not going to get a run in today. Too much stuff to do.
Going to get a swim in at lunch and then a quick run this afternoon. I'm taking the afternoon off as we have a bunch of people coming over to listen to the concert at Wrigley tonight from our rooftoop deck. Hopefully my ankle doesn't bother me during the run.
Was going to run this morning, but we had thunderstorms and my right ankle is bothering me. I'll probably hold off one more day from running and get a decent ride in tonight and some weights at lunch.
