Oceanside Swim. Not sure what it is, but when I swim open water I am so much slower than in a pool. Granted it was pretty choppy, but I need to work on OWS.

Rode through a marine layer the whole time. It was a mixture of drizzle and rain. My poor bike looked like I went mountain biking. Happy with the time, considering how careful I had to ride.

Ankle held up nicely. Just didn't have the run fitness to get under 2 hours. Tried to push it the last 3 miles, but my left hamstring was on the verge of cramping so I had to back off the pace some. Overall happy with it considering all the issues I dealt with.

5:52 and change for Oceanside today.  Happy with the results considering the conditions. Had a heavy duty marine layer for the entire ride.  My poor bike looks like I went mountain biking with it.  It is a mess.

Drove down from Dana Point to Oceanside.  All registered and am now just chilling waiting for tomorrow.  I'm most excited to actually finish the race and then rock some In and Out Burger.  

Flew from Chicago to LAX.  Drove down to Dana Point and spent the night at the Laguna Hills Marriot Resort.

Easy spin

Bronchitis and a sinus infection.  On a zPack.  Hope it knocks it out of me in a couple of days.  Think it all came about as allergy related issues.  This is the suffering I get from the quick spring.

Long day. Back and forth to Boston.  Was up at 4:15am and got home around 10pm.  Still feel like crap.  Seeing the doctor tomorrow.  
Nothing today.  Just resting trying to fight off this cold.  Have a 6:30am flight to Boston tomorrow and a 7:30pm flight back.  Gonna be a long day.
