I haven't decided yet whether I'll do any more races this year. There's a century in September and a sprint in October that I'm mulling. In any case, I'm going to start increasing the amount of strength work and try to drop a few lbs.

I set a PR today. My previous Olympic PR, which was also at NYC was 2:49:46. Today, I finished at 2:48:11. What I'm most happy with was my bike split-- I averaged at or just over 20mph for the course. The swim was good, though not as good as 2 yrs ago-- current wasn't as strong today. The run was ok. I did a 6:1 run walk and just tried not to reinjure myself. Mission accomplished. Whew.
