Woke up from a nightmare at midnight and woke myself up SCREAMING! What the heck? Am I 3 years old? At least I didn't scream for Mommmy! Still very stressed about work and the whole job thing. Got an offer this morning on the one job and am now waiting to hear on the other... but right now doesn't look good. Still deciding on what to do about swim practice tonight. My hip is a little sore and thinking maybe maybe the pool will help. But to swim by myself, which I won't push myself as hard OR go to Milestone and look like a fat ass in front of Coach Nancy.

Just wanted to get HR up and spend an hour on the bike. Goal was to get in aerobic zone.

Pretty stressful day overall. Still waiting to find out about new job... was told I was going to be made an offer on one, but hoping to get the offer on the other.... Ugh! Just have to put in God's hands. Felt good to actually be on the bike today and get a workout in. First workout since the marathon and I can definitely feel the loss of fitness. Hoping I will regain it quickly. May or may not go see Coach Nancy at the pool tomorrow for Master's Swim. Depends on how I feel after work and how things go with the election. Not to mention the fact I've put on 8 lbs of FAT since the race.... a little afraid of what Coach Nancy is going to say to me when she see's my little Budha! :(

Went very easy, spinning in small chainring most of the time. First workout in 2 weeks after running Chicago Marathon. Hip flexor began bothering me after about 20 min and left quad (inside) is still very sore. Overall even though I went easy, I have definitely LOST fitness. After workout hip flexor is bothering me a bit. Not sure if I should continue easy training or take more time off.

Walked neighborhood distributing campaign material to paperboxes. Stopped and talked to a few people along the way.

Felt good to finally do something active since running Chicago. Hip flexor is still bothering me (cortisone shot has worn off now I guess) and left knee is still a bit tender. Wondering whether to continue training at easy pace or to take some more time off to heal. See how I feel later in the day and tomorrow morning to go and do some strength training at the YMCA. After watching the BT people finish IMFL yesterday really got me pumped up to start training! Though I'm 41 weeks out, don't want to start too soon and burn myself out. I definitely needed some time off after training hard all year. ----------- After walk, hip flexor is really beginning to hurt. And starting to feel a little sick.
