rough day today. My son is being treated for strep. Was up durring the night throwing up. Did not keep any meds or fluids down in the AM. Got better as the day progressed, but was not going to do a workout and leave him with my wife on monthersday weekned like that. See if Sunday gets some results.

Went out very hard first 400 and was flying! Next 3 lengths had to watch for others comming at me so I was forced to site more and could not quite get my rythem back. Felt realy strong though.

got out of bed late due to staying up late after last nights meeting. Was looking for a longer run and ended up trying for a PR due to extreamly short time constraints. Not sure how I did but it was a good effort considering that I have not worked out since Sunday.

woke up fora morning run. Dressed and made lunch. Started to cough uncontrolably. Went into work. Felt worse. Left early. Hope this is the last I feel crappy until after Moosman. Maybe I can actualy execute a taper :)

Blew off the morning workout when I could not fall asleep until 2 AM. Passed on the evening swim when my Mom needed the night off from sitting for me.

OWS at silver lake. Estimated water temp was again 58. Felt the cold at the end of the second lap. A little worried about the temps at Mooseman and no sleeves on the suit. Ohe well will have to do.
