Distance is an estimate. Nobody thinks we should know how far we've gone on the trails in Lincoln, apparently. We can pour thousands of dollars into media to announce the new athletic director for the University, but to mark even every mile along the trail is simply too much to ask.

Workout felt really good. Probably helped that I could draft a little bit during because there were 3 of us in a lane! Got pretty hectic but thankfully the other guys kept stopping at the ends and that allowed me to push on ahead of them. They were doing drill type stuff with kickboards so I kept passing them.

Did NOT feel like swimming today. It was better for me than taking a nap though, since I slept for 10 HOURS last night!!! Almost was late to church [okay maybe we were a minute or two late] today. Felt fine during the swim. Didn't feel particularly fast or slow. Just eh.

Wow, my first mile in quite a while. Haha I didn't mean for that to rhyme. Felt really good the whole time. Noticed my left foot [arch] was hurting deep into the workout as I pushed off the walls. I just don't know what's going on with that silly thing. Maybe it's time to retire the 'everyday' shoes. One thing I've noticed is that I swim a TON better when I breathe every fourth stroke. That's why my warm-ups/first few laps are just awesome while the rest stink! Okay they don't stink, but they're not where I want them to be.
