FW decided to go for drinks after work. So I rode to the other end of town and then drove her home. Man, these roads just get more and more dangerous. What a bunch of idiots. One guy was trying to pass me and then he cut in front of me, only to realize that I was in a curb lane that also had parked cars. He had to stop and wait for the other cars to pass before he could pull out into his lane. A-hole.

Okay...this is the furthest I've gone with the Newtons. They are fast. Right calf a little tight...at one point I was doing a 4:30 pace.

Well, I signed up for the Great White North Triathlon. So that's my two A races. I don't know about Calgary 70.3 yet. It is going to be another money saving year, methinks.

Lead Half Mary Female Cyclist, then did sweep for 3/4 of the course. Long day. But worthwhile. Only one tense EMS episode. All was good.

I'm volunteering for the Queen City Marathon today as the biker for the lead half mary female. Whew!
I decided at the last minute to not go in drag.
