Oooooowwweeee that water is cold.  But crystal clear.  Hopefully I don´t get seasick from the swells and salt water.  But otherwise the weather cleared out today and it looks like it´ll hopefully be nice tomorrow too.  Off to the pre race meeting for english speakers now.  I´ll try to be loud and obnoxious to represent for the USA yo.
 
Hola!  Check this out: ¿¿¿¿¿ÑÑÑÇÇ  Heh.  Made it here and it´s cool and rainy on the Costa Brava.  Didn´t think I slept that well on the pane but when I looked at my watch a whole bunch of time had gone by.  It took about an hour longer since we had to detour around the ash plume but I guess I was just getting my money´s worth.  Calella is a bigger town than I anticipated.  Kind of like the Spanish version of say Daytona Beach.  Very touristy.   Everyone speaks so fast it´s hard to understand.  Plus I don´t speak spanish which is maybe the bigger problem.  Actually not really, because everyone seems to speak at least a bit of english too since it´s so touristy. 

Not much to do today except go to packet pickup and a short ride/run.  !Adios amigos¡

After warming-up do 4 x 90 seconds at race effort (3.5-minute recoveries). Cool down very easily and stretch.

Rode in my race set-up to make sure all the parts are working ok. Really windy on the north-bound leg but good practice for bike handling with the deep rims I guess. Otherwise felt ok, not great, not terrible.
