Was supposed to swim this morning. But instead got some much needed rest. Had some amazing dreams for the extra 1.5 hours that I slept in. I mean really vivid dreams about mudcrabs and fishing in the mangroves, bananas, House (the TV show... For some reason the guy fishing has some contagious disease) and all this was happening in a Toys R Us store. Weird huh
I obviously needed the sleep!
BF is doing BAY IN A DAY in Melbourne this weekend. I know he'll do well. This'll be his second time round the bay. Only downside is I can't be there to see him do it. I'll be doing BRIBIE. ^_^
Brief run around the block to loosen up after work

HRM Malfunction..... The strap keeps slipping off my chest during swimming giving silly readings.
In the last 400m free I timed a 300m freestyle to get an idea of what my swim time should be at bribie. 7m27.08s
i stupidly forgot that I had to get my gardasil vacination today. The last one made a rather large lump on my arm and it ached for days.
Should be alright this time. Didn't hurt as much when the needle went in this time so it shouldn't slow me down too much.
Okay ladies. I've got a problem. Over the last six weeks of training of lost 2 kilos. Over the past year 4kilos.
DON'T APPLAUDE ME...
I've always been the SUPER skinny kid. In order to have any sort of feminine charm I had to GAIN weight... I was never annorexic. I had an uncanny ability to eat most of my friends under the table. I think I fidgeted a lot which burnt it all off. During Uni and my first three years of work I gained a few kilos. I was still well within the healthy weight range. Anyway, lets just say I was encouraged to eat to go from being a BMI of 17.9 to 23. That's going from UNDERWEIGHT to healthy... My BMI is currently 20.5. Still healthy but I don't want to drop back into the emaciated category.
My Cousin Liz also competed in my race and EV came 7th in her very first race and got her first place swim.
She was an ABSOLUTE STAR.
Meanwhile I got a FIFTH FASTEST ride!
The first transition is the only thing that really slowed down my ride time. (as it's included)
This is why I'm looking forward to BRIBIE this weekend! The ride will be 13km instead of 5 so I can have an absolute blinder. I can hold my speed longer and just GO GO GO. Looking for another top 5 ride finish!
