IDIOT'S LIKE HIM GIVE BIKE RIDERS A BAD NAME!!!

I'm commuting to work. I had a green light. I'm going STRAIGHT. Cars had slowed because it was peak hour.

At the pedestrian crossing (where they need to wait for the green man) is another biker waiting to cross. He stops. So I speed up to get through the intersection because I had the green (and the lights change too damn fast!)

Then all of a sudden he GOES!!!! Right in front of me. I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY! HE HAD THE RED MAN!!!

Smashed into him. He was a total idiot.

I'm okay. The bike's okay. He came off second best. He was VERY apologetic and I said to him "You're bloody lucky I wasn't a car mate!"

Guess I was due for a crash after the close call on sunday

Last week I was feeling pretty down to the point where I broke down in tears that my job was going nowhere and I had no idea what I was doing there.

After some "emergency career councilling" by FH, I discovered that my thought process at that point was all wrong.  I was being asked WHY!!!

I am NOT a WHY thinker.  I am a HOW thinker.   I don't care what the answer to the question is I just need to figure out how to get there!  I guess that's why I enjoy my managerial work rather than my science.

Scientists ask WHY??

Managers ask HOW!

I think that's why I like triathlon so much.  It's all about the journey not the destination right?

I am now a member of the HIT BY A CAR CLUB! Got sideswiped by a UTE. ;_; my arse is kinda sore where I was hit but amazingly after getting pushed off the road I kept upright! The bike and I made it! We didn't fall. My arse feels violated though.

I must admit a passerby would have thought I was suffering from Turrets syndrome. My mother would've been embarrassed. LOL

Sad... Walton's pulled out of Mooloolaba!  :(

I so wanted him to get into Beijing!  He's an absolute legend!  He could've raced alongside Emma!

Got my Tetanus Shot in my left arm today. OUCH! Oh well. At least my foot isn't going to fall off now. Doctor commented that the scratches on my foot are still red and raised. I'm keeping an eye on them.

In my right Arm I got my last Gardasil Vaccine... :)

I Feel like a freaking pin cushion!!!
