I'd worked late and was on little food by the time I showed up at the pool. I was already in a fowl mood and and I was in a worse one by the end of it. I mean c'mon!!! The squads were taking up seven lanes leaving one lane for everyone to be in. So I get in and start my drills. One old guy was working on his pull buoy and on the first lap he tells me to "watch it" as he overtakes me. I'm freaking swimming on the lane rope as it is! How much room does he want. Then every single lap afterwards he PURPOSEFULLY bumps into me! He wasn't a "large" man so there's absolutley no excuse. Frankly I got tired of that really quickly. Plus the junior squad teacher has a microphone. It was DAMN annoying because I could hear it under the water. ARGH!!!

I think I have to find another pool or reschedule for another day.

I was SOOOO grumpy, annoyed and tired that I only got 1/3 of the way through my set. I just couldn't take that kinda crap yesterday.,...

Holy freaking crap! COOTHA intervals today! Ride up that sucker in the big chain ring! (4 times) then up to the lookout then one more to cool down. :) I must admit I was so wrecked that I came home afterwards and slept.

It was UPHILL for half of it. I ran up half of the steep hill and when my heart rate started spiking at 198 I knew the only real way I was going to get to the top was to powerwalk. HR stabilised uphill at about 170 and then as I began to run downhill it dropped dramatically. :)
