Rest day today. May have overdone it on the run yesterday again, this time, the right leg (left arch is doing fine for once). Argh, I can't win. I've never gotten injuries from running before, I have no idea why I'm starting now. Anyway, my right calf, along the right side midway up, is really feeling uncomfortable. In fact, it hurts. I've been icing and taking ibuprophen, but I have very little patience for this kind of thing 6 days (!!) before my race. Tomorrow I swim 15 minutes. I'll continue icing today and maybe throw in an aqua jog to loosen up a little. This sucks.

Quick brickaroony this morning, felt good. The weather is really making me look forward to getting up early for bike rides. I remember not long ago, the cold weather was killing me on those early mornings. It was dark and bitterly cold, and by the time I got home, my hands and toes were in such pain from going numb... I was miserable. Now it's a debate whether or not to wear a technical shirt over my tri top because I'll probably warm up pretty fast... Decisions, decisions. :) Tonight, a half hour EZ swim.
