Nice ride on the Greenway. My chain slipped while I was going up a steep hill which almost resulted in another fall - but I balanced it out quickly.

I was STARVING after riding and I realized that the last thing that I ate was a slice and a half of pizza at lunch.  Whoops!


The pool was closed this morning - I found out about that after waking up at 4:30am, eating breakfast, and arriving at the pool at 5:30.  Ah well, I haven't swam in two weeks - what's another day.

Riding tonight.

Great run in between the rain storms.

Today = the start of the Culpeper Sprint and VA Beach 1/2 Training Plan!
~ No swim though - my knee is still oozing and disgusting, I'll go tomorrow instead
~ Run 3 miles-done
~ Stop by Omega Sports for a ridiculous deal on a new pair of Kayanos - I might just have to pick up 2 pair-done
~ Drop the hybrid off for a tune up-eh, tomorrow

One loop around the lake with my dog. My knee hurts like a b*tch.

Woke up in pain this morning, I need to toughen up stat!  Reassessment of the damage from yesterday's fall:  scraped up palm, scraped up goose egg on the lower part of my knee, a bruise stretching from the side of my knee and across the top of it from where the bike landed on me, a bruise going across the side of my ankle from the bike, and a bruised elbow.

Greenway to the lake and back. After months of riding clipless, I had my first 'I can't unclip out of my clipless pedals' fall - my hand is scraped up, my knee is scraped up with a bump the size of a lemon, but my bike doesn't have one single scratch - apparently I fell 'well'.

One of my friends hosted a crawfish boil last night at his house - it was so much fun and the food was so good.  We had crawfish (obviously), corn on the cob, sausage, potatos, and garlic cloves - yum!
