Ran outside at RPC on a beautiful morning. Legs felt clunky for first two miles then felt good. Really picked the pace up after the first 1.5 miles. Felt really good by the end of the run. mile splits: 1=8:26, 2=8:08, 3=7:58, 4=7:53, 5=7:46, 6=7:39, 7=7:37. Good, unexpected tempo run!
Ran outside early. Was a little bit warm and a little bit muggy. I felt pretty oklay for the first ten miles but then a bit sore for the last half. Easy pace at first and then had to keep checking myself as I was speeding up without wanting to. Mile splits: 1=9:00, 2=8:42, 3=8:39, 4=8:41, 5=8:38, 6=8:35, 7=8:36, 8=8:32, 9=8:33, 10=8:32, 11=8:30, 12=8:20, 13=8:21, 14=8:30, 15=8:30, 16=8:24, 17=8:23, 18=8:25, 19-8:12, 20=8:10. Good, solid run!
Ran outside on a cool morning on RPC. Just a touch of achilles soreness, R > L, but truly just a touch. Felt good and tried to keep speed down but I always seem to go faster nera the end of a run, no matter the distance. Mile splits: 1=8:24, 2=8:17, 3=8:20, 4=8:20, 5=8:08, 6=8:06. Felt better than on Tuesday.
