Ran the Marathon Corp Marathon Forward-Iraq this morning. Started at 0500. Was going to try to stick to 8:00 min miles but started to edge up my pace and tried to hold it until the end. Felt really good through the first 20-21 miles, then started to feel a bit tired and at mile 23.80 felt something just "change" ande then it was a lesson in HTFU all the way to the finish. Mile splits: 1=7:54, 2=8:00, 3=8:01, 4=7:57, 5=8:01, 6=7:55, 7=7:48, 8=7:45, 9=7:48, 10=7:57, 11=7:49, 12=7:41, 13=7:24, 14=7:27, 15=7:42, 16=7:43, 17=7:50, 18=7:49, 19=7:41, 20=7:41, 21=7:53, 22=7:51, 23=8:00, 24=8:05, 25=8:13, 26=7:55. Overall a SUPER race for me!
