Not a good run today. Stepped out with the goal of 10 miles. I had two issues slow me down. One was breathing. I took a couple puffs of the inhaler and it was slow to work. The second was I had to really go to the bathroom but none was on the canal. I barely made it to the Chevron on Cooper/Chandler. I then just came home. I may go out for a bike ride later. On the other hand I may just enjoy Father's Day. Happy Father's Day

It' time to get crack a lackin. I've been a little slow with returning to training. I think this morning, I will do yesterday's workout and this afternoon will be some OWS swimmy and run. As part of my sponsorship with Aquaphor, I'm asked to distribute 250 samples of it. My plan was to do so at races , training events etc. Well yesterday another box of 1150 samples showed up on my door. I have no idea how I'll distribute all of them.

If I should be found dead and someone questions my cause of death and decides I did a David Carradine, please explain it is chafing from a wetsuit swim. It's that bad. Today's plan calls for a 45' bike and 15' run. Sounds good. I working for a few hours today. Setting up my office and computer system.
RACE REPORT IS UP! Race details are coming. I just have some errands to run. Someone sent me this poem that is fitting for what we do. Staying the Course By BJ Gallagher Our journey of life is about progress, not perfection. It's not about doing one thing 100% better - it's a matter of doing 100 things, 1% better each day. Progress is evolutionary not revolutionary, and most days we measure our progress in inches, not miles. What matters most is showing up for your life whether you feel like it or not. Ask yourself, "What two or three little things can I do today that would move me forward?" You'll be amazed at how much distance you can cover by taking it in increments. The little things add up; the inches turn to miles; and we string together our efforts like so many pearls. Before long, look what you have - a whole strand!

Walking on the GGB and up and down Lombard Street.

I escaped SF today and made it home. I'll post more details about the race tomorrow. In good shape except for some serious chafing on my neck. It actually is funny because I was able to quickly identify racers by looking at the neck today.
