Was nice to sleep in till 6:30 today since it is a scheduled rest day. I needed it. Tomorrow will have to start way early becasue the wife wants to go a teen conference at church from 8:30-4 and I am suppose to have a 52 mile ride to work in somehow, so I figure I get up early around 4:30 and ride. SUnday is also a lng run run (13.7 miles) which means I will also have to get up way early to fit that run in due to the afternoon heat here in Memphis.  I had better have a good race after all this!!!!!!

So tough to get out of bed this morning, but I had to keep thinking about that quote: The mind rules the body!  One more day of early rising, then I can sleep till 7AM.  Since my kids are in school, it has pushed me to get all my runs/bikes done by 7:30, which is not easy.

i am also very ready for the pool to reopen on Monday to get my swim on!

my first back to back races this weekend. I wasnlt sure how I would feel today and I did not feel great before the race, but I got into my groove and just ran. Felt good and strong.
