Ironman Muskoka bike On 09/01/2015, Dave Miller wrote Garmin FR910XT ***On 09/05/2015, Dave Miller wrote I'm not sure why this is so different from the Edge 510. The time is correct but it's not counting something in the Power calcs and also some sort of time difference indicated when you expand this window. Only thing that's different is that the Edge doesn't include zeros for cadence. Both use Smart data collection and include zeros for power. Perhaps there were more gaps in recording for the XT than the 510. It looks that way on Garmin Connect. I should see whether every second corrects this for the XT. ***

I will say that I did start to get a bit tired near the end of the swim. So, I'll have to remember that. One other thing was that I found feet to draft off of consistently going out to the island that we were to round and come back from. This gives me a good amount of confidence for a decent swim on Sunday! It was also a fantastic event to start the whole experience with too! ***

Tackled a few climbs just to get HR up first and then kept to rolling/flat. Interestingly, that's what I'll face on Sunday :) Striders were strong. I feel ready now and just have to execute on the bike plus get through the bike. ***

easy ride On 08/25/2015, Dave Miller wrote Garmin EDGE510 ***On 08/25/2015, Dave Miller wrote Went a bit farther than I should've but it wasn't too much longer. As evidenced by HR, this really was pretty easy though IF was up there a bit. While I seem to be over the worst part of the cold, it is lingering in my throat and a bit in my sinuses. Plus last evening I didn't get very good sleep. So, I didn't really feel very strong for this ride as I would hope at this time. Try to get better sleep tonight. ***
