Week 6, Q2
92 RPM AVG!!

Felt crummy all day. Felt fatigued and crappy, running around doing errands, watching my daughter, trying to close out some orders before the year end. The plow came by and dropped another four foot wall in front of my driveway. It was a tough day.

I forced myself to get on the trainer and I just felt great and I ended up nailing all 3 Intervals and probably had my best trainer effort to date. After 6 and a half weeks, I finally hit all my intervals with the proper intensity and left just enough for the last interval (which was so painful). What a nice way to end the day.

My kids are hyper as all heck with Christmas coming, and are driving me CRAZY!  I was going to Swim this afternoon but my daughter doesn't have school.

Bit the bullet and joined the gym. Just for 3 months. They have a cycling class too!

Wanted to Swim but my shoulderblades are still too sore from shoveling and pull-starting my snowblower!

My snow blower was on the fritz -- of course -- all day yesteday.  Was outside snow blowing and shoveling from sun up to sun down.  Shoulder blades are killing me!  Here are some pics of the kids and dog enjoying the snow:

    We got 22 inches of snow.  Kids are going beserk.  Our cars are completely covered in snow drifts.  Looks like I'll be riding the trainer again.

    Today's swim was tough. I was fatigued but I pushed through. My lats were throbbing afterwards, so I'm doing something right :)

    I think I'm joining the gym.  Like today.  There is -- as the weatherman said it -- a potent winter storm headed my way.  There is a blizzard warning for Long Island.  Despite the snow, it's 20 freaking degrees outside!  20 degrees is just too cold to train outside.  Swim today?

    29 Degrees - Real Feel Temp 18. Yup, it's time to join the gym.

    Legs felt fine this afternoon so I ran. Legs felt really good throughout.

    Slept like a rock last night :)  Legs are feeling a little banged up today.  So I'm not sure, but I may Swim again; or if it warms up a little, I may go Mountain Biking and just do a short EZ run after.  We'll see.  It's freeezing out again!
