I feel fatigued this morning.  I was on a "hyper training high" for a bunch of days in a row.  Today was Crash and Burn day, baby!!  I feel good though, very good actually; just very tired, probably

Aerobic - Ssddle Time

Oddly enough, last week was my 2nd biggest training week ever.  By a whopping 3 minutes last weeks training volume edged out a pre-HIM-Build week I had last September.  I say oddly because it snowed all week.  I did 10 hours of training entirely inside.  Crazy probably.  But the beauty of training inside on a Treadmill (I am finding) is that I have much more control over my pace.  Often times when I run outside I start out meaning to run Aerobic and EZ and end up with an all-out Tempo/ Sprint by the end.  This however often results in more soreness which increases my Recovery and detracts from my Swimming and Biking.  So after my 2nd biggest week ever, I feel very fresh and ready to go.  I am seeing clearly that my focus should be the Swim and Bike (Bike especially), and I just need to maintain my Running.  Swimming and Biking combined don't beat me up even a quarter as much as Running.  So for the next few months I am going to just run EZ and Aerobic, with some very short Tempo work; the majority of my focus and Intensity will be on the Swim and Bike.  I think it will work out nicely for me. :)

    Week 8, Q1
    RPM 88

    HR was artificially supressed because my garage is around 20 degrees. 4 Drainer Rides in one week is BRUTAL.

    It's hard to believe that Christmas break is over already!  I got a lot of training in, and had a lot of fun with the family.  Tomorrow is back to the grind!  And speaking of grinding, I need to get on the drainer today.  Maybe I'll start Jorge Week 8.  Yay! ;)

    Started Aerobic 8:34 and built slowly to 7:30, Tempo

    That's 28.77 ,miles, 4 HOURS on the Treadmill for me this week! A new Training PR!!

    More snow!! Only about an inch or so, but everything is white again.  I'm going to go out with the kiddies and build a snowman.  Later I'll either go up to the gym and get an EZ run in, or a light spin on the trainer.  I really wanted to go swimming today, but I don't feel like driving in snow.  Slept like a ROCK last night :)

    This was hard. Legs felt tired and fatigued most of the ride; became painfully sore around 40 minutes so I just spun EZ the remainder after MS.

    2009 was a good year.  Like any year it had its ups and downs/ good and bad.  I'm going to choose to learn from the bad and hold the good memories close to my heart. 

    2010 is the year of the Ironman for me, it will also be the year I publish my first Novel.  God-willing, on July 25th I will become an Ironman; God-willing, on October 10, 2010 (10-10-10) I will become a Published Author.  I'm certain I will not be the fastest triathlete; I'm certain I will not be the most successful Author.  As long as I do my best and put my entire heart and soul into both efforts, I will (hopefully) reach my highest God-given potential.  I'm responsible for the effort, not the outcome.  Here's to 2010.

    Upped the effort a tiny bit from two days ago. I'm going to by myself another pair of these DS Trainers. LOVE THEM to pieces.

    It's snowing again, only this time it's going to be just 1 to 3 inches.  Just enough to go sleigh riding!!

    Run at the gym, maybe a Z2 Ride on the Trainer tonight.

    HR Monitor wasn't working, DVD player didn't wanna play Coach Troy LP DVD, Rangers were losing 3-0 after the first period. At least it was a good trainer ride.
