Hardest and longest I've ever pushed on a bike trainer. Fun to be battling for the lead of the race with another rider. Unfortunately a small group caught us w/ 1k to go and it ended up a group sprint and I had no PU.

*** Upgraded to B Rider as a result of this race! That's the good news. Bad news is I can't race with my team anymore. Gotta hope a ZSUN B team picks me up.

p.s. Having trained Sunday w/ Dale on the Alpe, I had my Trainer Difficulty @ 70%. For this race I went straight to the pen, no regular world riding, and when the race started I realized I was still @ 70% trainer difficulty! Normally I race @ 0%. In the end it was a happy accident cause I really enjoy the trainer initiating the gradient changes instead of me shifting to artificially create the resistance. 150 Zwift Races at 0% trainer difficulty -- what was I thinking??!!??

Ate some junk food the last couple of days (some zebra cakes, m&m's and a zero calorie Monster energy drinks) and the body just isn't having it.  If I'm going to keep Running 10k everyday (on a semi-challenging course I might add) and Cycle at a modest volume (including vEverest training) AND include Swimming soon... my body will only tolerate proper fueling.  Meaning no junk food.  And it's not a matter of weight loss, cause I'm not eating a lot of junk food calories per se, but the body just isn't tolerating garbage as fueling and recovery food.  And it's making me feel like garbage.

Run 67. Day 67. And I feel like garbage. The body is strong (mechanically peaking). Almost zero niggles, aside from a little acute soreness in left groin from low cadence work on the Alpe Sunday that's progressively getting better. So yeah, body is strong but the head is foggy, bit woozy and the stomach is a touch upset. But we'll press on!

As a result of yesterdays TTT effort I put out a PR of 3.3 w/kg for 20'!  And with the weight loss ZwiftPower has me listed as "almost B" rider!  Woot Woot!
