tt for the run...on tm at KL's...on 1% for 15 minutes, 05 when I figured it out for the rest!

Forgot my bike shorts so opted to run my time trial (which I DIDN'T want to do) at the Fabulous KL's.  It sucked big time.  Just like always.  The big difference today was I was mentally tapped from all the stress of getting Kaity to orientation this morning, and sitting all day listening to sooo much information.  Then I forgot half my stuff...oy.  They did enjoy my occasional swearing and porno grunt sound track though! ;)

We ran up to REI after my wo and I picked up some shorts so I could push my ride to the morning and ride with Kimm on Hines.  Then we played with the dogs, got ready for the morning and hit the hay!

I so appreciate the girls letting me crash to cut out lots of drive time back and forth to AA!  Thank you ladies!  (((HUGS)))

Kind of deadish legs today.  Was supposed to run threshold for 20 minutes, but really didn't hit my pace.  Had a hard time with leg turnover and pushing myself.  Why can I do threshold on the bike, but it seems sooooo much harder on the run?  I'm sure the balls to the walls on the bike with Trixie yesterday didn't help. The ac sets, I just ran as fast as I could with out tweaking the butt.  I definately felt it on the left side during threshold, (and yesterday too for that matter) so I pushed it, but didn't look at the pace...just went fast.  My hr was all over the place during this run too...when I was starting out it read 38 as I walked to the end of my street...then it was in the 190's and 200's during threshold, then in the low 100's-120's.  Somethin' ain't right with that darn garmin.  And now the band is coming off the watch to boot.  BOOOO.

Now I'm getting ready for the lake (dinner with the family) and prepping for my crack of dawn ride.  It should be lots of fun...well, as fun as getting up at 4:30 can be! ;)

a relaxed loop with Coop and Craig

Got the repair man in to work on the dryer (parts are on order) put laundry away, did some chores and headed out to ILRA...without my cooler or water jug...BOOO!  Fortunately I figured it out in time to hit the Meijers in Wixom!  Thanks Trixie for being patient with my forgetful self! :)

Met Steve (Trixie made a new friend while I was keeping her waiting) then we rode.  OMG...we totally kicked our own butts.  AWESOME/AWFUL!  Yesssss!  Threshold race pace was the interval as written, but more like vo2max and ac on the first one.  They all hurt, but Trixie is great to chase, so I had  a great workout!!!

Then we ran...hard for me, happy pace for Trixie.  It was only 20 minutes, thank heavens.

Before I knew it, it was time to swim!  It was great to see Jason and Jamie out there tonight, and Ann too! :)  Miss Sushi and I swam together where she noticed I still swim like the sea snake I am.  I'm better than last year, but still wasting energy going off course.  Booooooo! Thanks for the heads up on that Sushi! :)

Then one more ride...Coop and Craig slow rolled it for me...(until Craig couldn't take it anymore and peeled off!)  Thanks for sticking with me Coop!  :)

Then we had our regular chitty chat time after all the work was done...awesomeness! :)  I love Thursdays! :)

Me thinks I'll be sleeping in my compression tights tonight...I've got some runnin' to do tomorrow!

What a hump day!  The investment property went on the market at midnight last night and we had 4 offers today, all over asking price!  My partner did a fantastic job on the place.  :)  We will be taking a very good offer with good terms and a quick closing.  Keeping all body parts crossed that everything pans out (cause you just never know in real estate, especially these days.)

Awesome night in the lab again tonight.  I was digging the threshold sets even at 18 minutes!  Woo Hoo!  It's official...I"M A FREAK! :)  Then for the spin karaoke, the boys (and a few of us girls) were really singing!  Lots of good tunes to help the threshold sets fade away! :) Fun times with fun peeps.

Then it was time for schwimmy.  Sad night though, cause I won't be seeing my swim buddy for at least a month.  Super duper sad face. :(  We pushed each other as always which was perfect for the threshold sets.  1:36,1:37, 1:37, 1:39 for those.  Sweet! We swam the endurance and easy pace shoulder to shoulder!  I'm gonna miss swimming with Scott!!!
