We got about 6 inches of snow last night. I really wanted to run about 11 miles but could barely maintain a shuffling jog --- there's ice under the snow and roads are not all plowed. Enjoyed the run but could tell that an hour was going to be the limit today.

We got quite a bit of Christmas shopping done yesterday. I'll go out at lunch again and hit the mall. Odd though, Steve and I both commented that the stores just did not seem too crazy crowded this weekend. Maybe it was our timing. We also did more online shopping this year.

Steve's daughter is due to have her second baby on the 17th. Her doctor says he'll let her go one week past her due date before inducing, which would mean the baby could be born on Christmas Eve. Katie really hopes the doctor will just go ahead and induce on the 23rd. Either way, with Steve's mom gone and a new baby, it's going to be a very different holiday.
