Easy run with some pickups thrown in.
At mile 2.25, I stepped on a nut and twisted my ankle. Figures! I'll be fine.

Loops, near home. Checking out race wheels, brakes, etc.
Lots of gear changes. Everything seems OK except the brakes are pulsing weird. Like the wheels aren't true or something.

Felt very good. Doc drove over and ran it with me. It was nice having company.

Easy easy. Forced myself to stay in the small chainring most of the ride.

Just realized my Saturday run AFTER two other sports was a 10K PR for me. Partly on a trail, talking to a friend, carrying a water bottle.
No sh*t.

Felt GREAT! Bring the wind! Bring the hills! Is that all you have? Really?
Man, I forgot how fun this sport is when every weekend isn't a 6-hour ride.

I ran how fast? You are freaking kidding me! This felt GREAT too. I love taper!
What a difference some cooler weather makes! I also tried this out with my thicker socks, which I am considering using or at least putting in my special needs bag. No negatives, at least after an hour.

Day off! This tapering thing is weird. But I enjoyed sleeping in until 7:20! Wow!
