I eat very healthy - all natural, whole grain everything. Should I be taking extra supplements or vitamins or extra care for training for a triathlon, even the sprint distance?

I'm a long time runner (5Ks, 10Ks and a couple half marathons) transitioning into triathlons. I have started training for a sprint triathlon. I eat very healthy - all natural, whole grain everything (even pasta), lots of fruit veggies, beans, tofu and some meat (but not much). I splurge on sweets now and again. Should I be taking extra supplements or vitamins or extra care for training for a triathlon, even the sprint distance?

Congratulations on the transition to a new lifestyle! The swim-bike-run way of life means commitment, discipline and lots of time management. Nonetheless, you will enjoy reaping the rewards of training for three separate sports, as well as meeting many passionate triathletes along the way.
