hmmmm.....feels like a monday, and no one has started this thread yet? What's up??
33 frickin' degrees out.....I soooo want to ride outside but just will not do that to myself. Back to the trainer for yet another day, and off to the pool later. Hubby is home sick, so THAT ought to keep me busy as well.
ok everyone, up and at it! -

Hehehe...now it's my turn to gripe Ellen...8:00 AM here and it's 27 degrees! Oh well, back to the club for the indoor workouts. At least I got to ride the bike a couple of times this weekend. Wow I had Chinese food for dinner last night and didn't put on any weight...simply amazing!

It's 7:45pm here...so my day is already over. Today I biked for an hour then jumped off and ran a mile...small Brick. I also swam 1250 meters in the pool. Not a bad day. 3 more days and I finally go home. I can't wait to get off this island. -

Off day for me today, except might do a yoga class with my wife tonight. That'll be a nice stretch.
Max, speaking of Chinese food, if you're not cooking in a wok at home you might not know what you're missing. It's easy and fast, and the chopping of the vegetables makes for a great couple's project while sipping a glass of heart-healthy red wine. Last night we made THE MOST delicious wok-full of veggies with my secret chinese, no-cal, no-fat sauce over white rice. I put some tender white chicken on the side (my wife's a vegetarian). It is deeeelishus, and the next morning the scale never even knows.

Thanks TriMan! We do eat a lot of stir-fried veggies, but don't own a wok, usually they're all cooked in the fry pan. I may have to try this wok thing...veggies and chicken over brown rice, yum, I could eat it every day!

Went to the YMCA for my bike ride -- 10 miles, then ran outside for 2.36 miles. We were quick because the wind was really blowing.
Have a great training or rest day everyone.

25 minute swim this morning -- didn't really count laps -- started but lost count. Time is good enough. Felt good.
It is bright and sunny in Seattle!! I may hit 70 today -- before we get back to 50 and rain tomorrow!!!!
I have a day off today, but like Malvey, I MUST do my taxes. So may or may not get out there to enjoy a piece of this gorgeous weather on foot or bike.

Rest day. Too bad, because it was beautiful out at last! We definately have spring fever up here....it feels soooo good after being tormented by winter for so long!!
Tomorrow we ride outside again. If I get another flat I will scream.

Worked on swim technique. Lost count of my laps somewhere around 400yds. Once I figured out that I was lost (as usual), I did an extra 200yrds. LOTS of stretching tonight...
