extra wide bike shoes

Can someone point me in the right direction for wide bike shoes. I wear a 4E in NB running and could go to a 5E. I tried on the SIDI Genius 5 pro carbon at local tri shop in 45 1/2 and way too tight plus heel slipped. Are there any other brands out there that have widths?

Have you looked at Specialized shoes?

I tried the Sidi in half size which is their wider width and seemed like if I went to the Mega on them it would fit but $250 and if I order from the store I own them even if they don't fit. I tried specialized as well and they just were not wide enough despite having a larger toe box than most shoes. Thanks for the feedback

I have a pretty flat and wide foot. I was told to stay away from Sidi because they're so narrow. The Shimano TR31 is pretty wide and conforming because of the mesh sides. It still wasn't wide enough for me though and I wear 2E. I ended up with a Louis Garneau shoe which supposedly has the widest shoes of the various brands. They're carbon bottom and I paid $145 at the IronMan store during a sale. -

Same problem here, I wear a 12 4E New Balance running shoe. Got the Sidi Mega's size 45 on eBay for about $175 from Bikewagon....Little long but good on the width and big enuf to double my sox in the cold or just tighten the ratchet straps for barefoot in the summer. On Sidi, the Mega is the wide.... -

Did you try the sidi 45.5? the length on that was good for me just not wide enough. But if you are a 12 NB 4EE and the 45 mega is long for you I may need ot drop to a 44 mega

Lake makes cycling shoes in wide (2E) which have been good for me in the past. I usually wear a 2E running shoe.
