If anyone else is running, post here. I know Reece, Jayhox, and myself are running the full. Looking like a pretty nice day for a run.

I have no idea how I feel about tomorrow. I don't feel bad, but I don't feel great. I have never gone into an event with absolutely no idea how I will do. Oh well, it is my first marathon so the goal is to finish with dignity and have fun with Jon and Reece. -

I'm right there with you Patrick, fighting with this PF and haven't run for two weeks. Mine will be a fight with pain more than anything else.

The good- we all finished, the bad- we were well off our expected pace and finish times. Reece powered through a case of PF and finished. Brandon really HTFU and ran the full today in 3:46 after doing the Northface 50k yesterday.

Had yet another great time with the guys. Jon and I maintained a steady pace through 19 miles, then slowed a bit through mile 21 or so, then each finished in our own way. Kind of like we had planned considering we had no idea what would happen today, we played by feel as best we could. I finished in 3:37 and learned a lot for my first marathon. Primarily, that miles 20-25 suck . . . REALLY bad.
Again, had a great time with the guys! Reece was a stud fighting through the foot pain, Bandon is an animal pulling of the 50k/marathon weekend, and Jon was steady as usual.

Great job to the marathoners. I set a new PR in the half - though it was only my second open half-marathon ever. Perfect weather. It helped that the trail shielded much of the wind.
Those overpasses/underpasses as well as the steep hill by the apartment complex were a pain. I almost rolled my ankle while screaming down a hill to go under a street bridge while also trying to stay to the right side of the trail to avoid other runners. Close call.

Yep, those steep downhills gave me a couple of purple toenails. -

Hey Mike,
Was that you that said hi to me during the race (think you were wearing blue). I wasn't sure who it was. Congrats on the PR. I set a PR on my marathon, slowest ever....OK I've only run two and I was jacked up for this one so I can't really complain. I almost rolled an ankle or two also.
