BY: RRH_88 on 2013-03-03 10:20 AM
Good Morning BT
Nice morning here sunny but a little chilly at 18 degrees, Did a short easy 3.5 mile run Knee was good, but the hamstring I pulled on thursday didn't hold up as well it was good to about 2.5 mile and then started to tighten up, but I was able to keep running as it wasn't hurting just tight. I will give it some Rice while watching the nascar race this aft, Just got an e-mail that the pool is repaired so swimming tomorrow.
Have a great day everyone, and be safe.

Hope the hammy feels better!
Today I'm playing pick up basketball for a couple hours (counting that that as my running, seriously kicks my butt), then grabbing some food before tackling the new SF video, Blender!
Cheers all,
Chris

Hello! Cloudy here, but warmer!
Heading out to Blue Lake for about a 60 minute swim. Did my long run yesterday so today will be pretty easy. Then up to my classroom to get some work done!
Have a great day!

4500 yards in the pool followed by a 12.25 mile run, all done my 10:30. The baby shower for our first child (due in less than 4 weeks) is this afternoon, so I had to get in the workouts earlier than usual.

Cool.....what's that? Actually it was a very nice morning here--clear, low humidity, breezes that cleaned out the air, but was well into the 90's by the time I finished a 3-hour plus ride and 25 minute brick run. After some "refueling" did a lazy 1000m recovery swim at the gym. The water was comfortable (I think the refrigerate it or something) but the air temp was so hot after that it wasn't comfortable to sit poolside, even in the shade. Spent the rest of the day with fan, AC, cat, and couch. -

2 hour run in beautiful, sunny NC. My legs are tired and looking forward to a recovery week this coming week.

I found the pool again! I had set March 1st as my return to swimming date, but forgot I would be out of town Friday & Saturday. I was at the Florida Double Iron race as the over night medical staff. My first swim in four months and I'm still just as "fast" as I was at the end of last season. 1600 yards in 31:40, same 2 minutes/100 yards I always swim.

7.78 mi run in 1:18:30. Longest run in a very long time, feels good to be stretching the runs out again without knee trouble. -

20 mile run in 3:04, my last long run before IM Los Cabos in 2 weeks. Yesterday was a 73 mile ride in a little over 5 hours. Yes my bike is slow right now. :-)
