Turbo trainer tip
BY: Triathlon_daddy on 2016-05-21 6:30 AM
I'm hitting brick sessions at the moment, intervals alternating between tempo and race pace for both the bike and run.
The problem is when riding at my tempo' speed the setting is either too hard or too easy and I cant seem to find a way around it, probably due to it being not a very expensive turbo trainer. Anyone got any ideas on how to get round this, and maybe more generally on turbo trainers?
Cheers

I'm a bit confused... are you using the gears on your bike and that makes it too easy or too hard... If that's the case, then you have too wide of a cassette which is easily fixed with a narrower cassette (for example a 12-25 instead of a 12-29).
If it's the trainer, then use your gears to find the right resistance... I assume you're training by feel, not speed.
