Crack of it all, 6 miles through a humid southern PA morning. It was really nice. Started listening to a new book today, always helps to invigorate the brain, while the body is working.
Let's hope the storms aren't strong today.
Enjoy your Tuesday.

5:45 AM: 5-mile tempo run with 1 mile warm up / 3 miles at 10K race pace / 1 mile cool down.
This was short and fast. These workouts are fun.
Have a great day BT!

Some of the ideas that I have tried are very non-conventional but I figure if no
one ever tried them nothing new will ever be discovered. -

One hour run this morning, before it got too hot. 30 minutes and change of swimming this afternoon. Beautiful day here, just very hot and sunny. -

4.1 easy-ish miles. We’ve had a lot of rain today so the humidity was right at 90% with the dew point at 71 degrees. It was quite a sticky run. Trying to work on keeping my heart rate in zone 2 during my runs. I can do it pretty easily during my bike sessions.
Happy training! -

I've never missed the summer humidity in the eastern half of the US. Here it can be 100+ but quite bearable if you stay out of the sun, as it's almost always dry heat. Plus usually pleasantly cool until late morning, even on hot days.
