What’s up crew?
Up for a bit more than an hour on the trainer. 2x12 minute sweet spot intervals and a couple of high cadence intervals and one all out sprint mixed in. A very eclectic workout.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday! -

I did a quick 6.5 mile run at lunch.
Legs are getting a bit pooched. Weather was overcast and misty.
Felt good!

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit...
I did an hour and forty-five minutes on the bike trainer today. 2x40 minutes sweet spot intervals. I usually ride at about 91-92 RPM but today the target watts was either 84 RPM or 95 RPM depending on if I shifted one gear up or one gear down. At 84 RPM I held the 287 Watts without any trouble but at 95 RPM I couldn't hold the Watts steady. I dropped to about 255 Watts on the gearing that was producing 287 watts at 95 RPM before I could hold things steady. That was enlightening to me. I am always trying to increase my RPM so that I can be more efficient, but today it was clear that the lower cadence was working out better.

Some of the ideas that I have tried are very non-conventional but I figure if no
one ever tried them nothing new will ever be discovered.
