Did some light running and walked around some.
Run
Comments:
I carried my own water bottle so I wouldn't have to slow down at the water stations. It lasted me until almost mile 12 and then I tossed it. Was perfect amount not too much not too little. Carried 2 powerade gels also. Only used one, because at mile 8 they passed out a carb boom gel so I had that also. What would you do differently?:
stretched more
Post race
Warm down:
Walk back to carWhat limited your ability to perform faster:
Pop in left calf at mile 12.5. Had to limp the rest of the way in. Probably torn a calf muscle. Will be making appt with doctor on Monday if I'm still limping.

Great Job with the race this morning. After the storms last night it turned out to be a perfect day for it. Very solid pace.
Take care of that calf muscle. R-I-C-E.

Great job!
That sounds scary about the calf. I hope it's OK. Great job gutting it out! 13.1 is a long way!
