Swim
Comments:
I was never comfortable in this swim, and I'm not sure why. My pace was bad, my form was off...just a bad day in the water.
T1
Comments:
The transition area for this race is very odd. It's on the side of a hill & the racks are placed all over. They tried to organize it, but I think it's just a bad spot to place the transition area.
Bike
Comments:
I pretty much knocked this one out of the park; it helps that this is area I'm familiar with from the DA group rides. No complaints here.
T2
Run
Comments:
I just kept pushing the whole time, trying to get max effort in. It worked out fairly well, though I had a hard time staying cool because of the heat.
Post race
Event comments:
If they had a better transition area, I'd rate this race higher. It's the only real negative I have about the race though, overall Playtri does a good job.

Dude, your swim sucked because you are slow. Face it, even if you were "comfortable" you're still slow. Lessons. Practice. Train.
T1 = 1:33. WTF! I could remodel my house in a minute freakin' 33. Are you styling or what?
Bike = Sub 21 and you call that knockin' it out of the park?? Maybe a Little League park where I grew up and we dint have no money for a real field.
T2 = No comment because you were only 2 seconds (2!!!!) faster than T1. How long does it take you to change shoes? A long time I'm guessing... 1st shoe, 2nd shoe, should be 30-40 seconds, tops.
Run = Pffft, 8:43 miles; that's pushing max effort? Fail. Yeah, it is hard to stay cool when it's heat. It's AUGUST in TX. Surprise!
That's it; blame it on the TA layout, that's what I'd do...
