Was sick 2 weeks before race. Got to race site, met up with teammates, set up transition.Event warmup:
Got wet.
Swim

Swim time also included long run/walk up to transition. Lots of swell. Forgot Garmin strap, so I put it in my jersey pocked under wetsuit.What would you do differently?:
Not swallow water. Work more on running on the sand.

Couldn't find sunglasses, threw me off. Forgot to hit lap on Garmin on swim finish and bike start.What would you do differently?:
Make sure to have sunglasses in helmet, not in jacked pocket.

Had a bit of difficulty breathing in certain areas, so wasn't in aero as much as i would have liked.What would you do differently?:
more time in aero.

Got passed coming into transition by a guy on a beach cruiser, he was part of a relay that left 10 mins after my wave.What would you do differently?:
get shoes on easier

Walked a lot, felt like I was going to throw up most of the time.What would you do differently?:
Run more, didn't run much in the weeks before due to illness.
Post race
Warm down:
Tried to down some food. walked around, took pictures with my team mates. Went from the race directly to Special Olympics of Southern California chapter games.What limited your ability to perform faster:
Recovering from being sick, coughing a lot.
