Jogged a little...took pain meds...two laps in the pool
Swim
Comments:
I started ahead of Marsha because I knew I was about 30 seconds faster. It gave me a nice clear swim. I didn't pass anyone and no one passed me.What would you do differently?:
Good swim for me.
T1
Comments:
T1 went perfectWhat would you do differently?:
need to try no socks next year and will save 10-15 seconds
Bike
Comments:
I rode a little conservative due to the train tracks, hill and rough pavement...wanted to leave a little for the runWhat would you do differently?:
Good ride today

nothing...T2 has always been fast for me

Comments:
I went out a little slow and got my legs quickly. Katie came up behind me so my goal was to stay ahead of her. She pushed me pretty good. What would you do differently?:
This was the best I have run off the bike this year
Post race
Warm down:
grabbed some water and showered upWhat limited your ability to perform faster:
I've done this race the last 4 years and this was the quickest by a minuteEvent comments:
I was in 2nd place overall for the Grand Prix Series. I knew I needed a good race today. I stuck with a game plan today and it worked perfectly. I ended up getting 1st place AG today and 1st place Grand Master for the Grand Prix Series. It was great seeing familiar faces and talking to everyone since it is the last triathlon of the season.
