ok ok here we go.. I'm in! I hate swimming in the winter, so its time to suck it up and get in the pool. I need to think about my goal a bit more but I'm tempted to aim for 5000yards (maybe more, but I'm away for 10days sooo that kinda makes it difficult to train) bah excuses already. Anyway sign me up and let give em a challenge.

If it's not too late sign me up for 20km. I guess I should read the rules first. I was part of the guys team is the other swim challange, but did not have a digi cam to get my avitar changed. I did pay homage to the winnig team in my sig thought. Can I still play ??

You get points for confessing. You lose points for welching. We girls wanted our bytes of flesh!!

I will try to make good. This is the closest that I have. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year and bring me a digital camera. After all I was a good boy this year and I did played nice with all the other kids.

Vedy, vedy nice. You get more points.
I think I'm getting coal in my stocking this year... Actually, I don't celebrate Christmas (except I give to my nephews/nieces) so I'm spared the disappointment.

Oh, all right, sign me up for the canuck team too. I'll have to think about the goal 'cause I still intend to concentrate on my running more, as well as dealing with the holidays, but I should get in the pool too. I'm not sure about this avatar business though since I don't have one of those electronical cameras either, or a speedo for that matter. -

Greg here from Toronto'ish... wanting to tear it up in the pool
Big goals to relive the glory days of my club swimming years: I'll get back to you with a total... should I sandbag? Or put the goal really high?
Cheers

A helmet is like a back-up parachute. You may never need to use one, but don't jump without it.
If I wash my cat in beer, I'm going to have a very drunk cat and a very frantic dog as she is a total alcoholic and would be chasing the cat around, trying to slurp her. - Yanti -

Well, I thought about captaining this ship.
I will have to go through the numbers now.
But if we need a captain, then I am in.
I thought JenG would be doing the captain part as she was the first 'nuck to sign up. -

No need to sand bag.
Just put your goal as to what you think you can accomplish.
THey are throwing out any goal that is over 100% completed.
For you SFSC, I would challenge myself. -

I'm in. I swim about 10,000 meters a week. I'm not to sure about the rules so if someone could explain them that would help me estimate total distance.
What is the time frame?

I vote that you are in.. welcome to the team! plus you changed your avatar.. can't really turn that away. Better check with the captain though (my vote doesn't really have any merit) -

Thanks Elly. For those of you undecided I could also learn the National Anthem and wear a mountie hat!
